I started Desert Nomad Media because I kept seeing the same thing: great local businesses in the Coachella Valley — restaurants, barbers, contractors, candle makers — invisible on Google while their less-impressive competitors showed up first. That bothered me. So I decided to do something about it.
I'm not a big agency. I don't have a team of 50 people in an office somewhere. I'm a Coachella Valley local who learned SEO the hard way — by doing it, testing it, and getting real results for real businesses in cities I actually drive through every day.
After earning my Full Stack Development certification from UC Berkeley, I didn't just want to build websites — I wanted to build websites that actually work for businesses. That meant learning everything from technical SEO and Google Business Profile optimization to content strategy and conversion design.
The Coachella Valley is a unique market. Palm Springs, Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage, Indio, Desert Hot Springs — each city has its own search behavior, its own competition, its own customer base. A national agency cannot understand this market the way someone who lives here does.
I'm newer than the big agencies — and I'm honest about that. What I offer instead is hunger, attention, and the kind of care that a larger agency simply can't give a small business client.
